The pet industry meets in Amsterdam in November

Pioneer of the Slovenian pet supplies trade
Vetpet is one of the leading suppliers to pet stores in the region that was formerly Yugoslavia. In addition to this wholesale business, owner and general manager Marko Levstek also runs a speciality pet product chain that currently comprises 17 stores in Slovenia trading under the umbrella of a subsidiary, Alfapet.

British expertise in the pet supply trade
Europe’s largest annual exhibition for the pet trade, Glee Petindex in Birmingham, will once again cover every imaginable product and accessory with 300 British and international exhibitors.

Think small, think kuxury
Rising rents and the resulting reduction in size of the average living space in central and eastern European cities such as Prague, Warsaw and Budapest are opening up promising prospects for the development of the nano-aquarium segment here in the future. In Russia, on the other hand, luxury aquariums are booming.

Meeting the decision makers
The programme of events for the International Pet Conference in Amsterdam is now complete. The list of speakers features so many prominent names that it could have been taken from a Who’s Who of the international pet product sector.
