Optimistic mood in eastern Europe

Plenty of new stuff in the East
For years, large, modern pet stores were a scarce commodity in eastern Europe - but that´s all changed in recent times, especially in Russia and Poland.

A segment where growth is guaranteed
The speciality trade needs scarcely anything other than products, advice and services related to animal health to enhance its profile with its customers. Products with added veterinary benefits are making rapid advances.

+ Overcoming economic setbacks
No apparent signs of recession: $45.4 billion was spent on pets in the U.S. in 2009, estimates the American Pet Product Association (APPA).

+ Rendezvous in Orlando
It´s not long now until the Global Pet Expo: Orlando is the venue on which the international pet sector will converge from 25 to 27 March.
